A Little Bit More About Rachelle
Rachelle is a birth doula certified by DONA International and is a BRM® Pro. She has been working with birthing families in Terrace, BC since August 2020.
Rachelle is a fun, adventurous gal (who loves Jesus) and has a passion for loving on and supporting moms and their babies. She has four beautiful kids and one amazing husband who is super supportive.
When she is not at a birth, she is going to the park with her kids, playing ultimate frisbee, working out, propagating plants and feeding her mini humans constantly. She has always had a heart and a passion for connecting with and taking care of women and children. Her role as a doula is unique in that she customizes each of her birth packages to specifically suit that client's needs.
Not sure if your having Braxton Hicks or its the real deal? I'm here for you. Do you just need some encouragement and some reassurance? I'm your girl. I love all things having to do with birth.
She has experience working with premature babies, is trauma informed, and is passionate about helping women achieve the most empowering birth possible. Rachelle is constantly researching and staying up to date on all things birthy.
Rachelle is also a Body Ready Method Pro.
My Wish For Birthing Women
My goal is to support, protect, encourage, educate, and advocate for women during one of the most life changing events that happens in their lives. I want to show women that giving birth is an amazing thing not to be feared and that you can do it! I believe that the more support a woman has during this amazing transition of pregnancy and birth, the easier it will be for her to care for her baby.
